    Can't play dvd nvidia tnt

I've tried the new drivers nero upgrades. It's the sony 700a dvd writer.
My old dvd reader quit working about two years ago.I was told it was because I had upgraded to xp.They said I needed New software.Decided to get this burner since it comes with great software.
It plays cd's mp3's ets but wont play video please see attatchments.
I can also play streaming media so I was told my video card is fine?

Nero ShowTime says it's got to have DirectDraw running. So did you press the 'Test DirectDraw' button like DirectX Diagnostics suggested?

It says in the DirectX Diagnostics that DirectDraw information isn't available, suggesting that it's not enabled because your graphics card doesn't support it....... although that surprises me with a good card like your 64Mb TNT2.

Anyway, what happens when you run the test?

Errrm ..... what did you do to make it work?

Maybe 'inter actual' works better because it doesn't use DirectDraw ?

someone had turned the hardware excelerater(display properties) off so I couldn't access directx files at all.So much for inter actuall its not great it's out of sinc to just not as bad. Any suggestions to get nero to work properly?
