Welcome to D-A-L.
Is this a proprietary machine? (ie; Brand_Name - Gateway, eMachine, Dell, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Lenovo, Compaq, etc.)
If it is, please post the Make, and the exact Model Number. If there is a Service Tag, post this info as well.
If the machine is a custom built Desktop, what is the Make, Model, and Rev. of the motherboard?
OR,,,,
If it's an Intel Based machine, go here;
Intel Driver Update Utility
Let us know ....................

What Operating System are you running? Vista?
Is there a label on the side, back, or bottom which describes something like; PT.U03-PV.U03 (Support Download)
Or, for lack of information, here's two methods of obtaining the required info,,,,
Here is a link to Everest Home Edition (CLEAN FreeWare)
METHOD 1
Download, install, and run Everest Home Edition on this machine. (CLEAN FreeWare) Once it's finished loading and running, click the + sign next to;
Motherboard. Click on Chipset. Post the information listed (on the right) after South Bridge exactly as it is listed. (example; South Bridge: Intel 82801GB ICH7)
Multimedia. Post the information listed (on the right) under PCI / PnP Audio exactly as it is listed.
METHOD 2
To get a detailed report of all your (recognized) machines hardware;
Start Everest Home Edition. Once it's finished loading and running, click on the Report Wizard in the Menu Bar. Save all hardware related pages (the default) to a TEXT file. (It will save it to C:\Program Files\Lavalys\EVEREST Home Edition\Reports by default, unless you redirect it.)
Compress (zip) the Everest Report text file and attach that zipped text document to your next posting. (When posting, click on Advanced, and just below the posting box you'll see "Additional Options", and within that, "Attach Files". Click on "Manage Attachments" and follow the prompts. Browse to the file and choose UPLOAD.)
