I have an Epson Stylus Photo RX 620 and occasionally I get the message of Error 0X00000015. In the past I have uninstalled and reinstalled to get rid of the error in order to scan. Is there an easier way to get rid of the error?

i had similar problems with a similar model and i updated to lates version of drivers and it seemed to be resolved.

p6345uk, I uninstalled the printer/scanner and same problem. I have Window's 7, 64 bit. I finally removed printer from the USB port and put it into the external 4 port I have and the problem went away. WHY!!!

is your external 4 port hub externally powered?
do you have it plugged into the the same usb port as the printer was or different one?

No, it is not externally powered. I use an available port that is in front of my server. I had previously updated my drivers to the latest level.
