MFP Server Detector01

    Re: MFP Server Detector01

    Yes I did, no luck.
In Device Manager, under Other Devices, I still see MFP Server Detector01 with the yellow exclamation mark next to it. I can't see any other printers in the Device Manager actually, what would they be under?
I've tried disabling and uninstalling the MFP Server Detector01 from the Device Manager, but it still keeps coming back.

Let's try this. Got to Start > Run and enter: msconfig

Click on the Startup Tab and see if you can find the Detector listed. If so, uncheck the box then ok your way out and reboot. If that that works, you can tell msconfig not to run at boot.

    Thanks, I fixed it!
I opened msconfig and saw MFP Manager, tried disabling it but it didn't work. So then I followed the file path, and it was in the Belkin folder, and in a folder called All-in-One Print Server, so I went to that folder and there was a driver there, so I installed it, even though it told me not to as it was not verified...
But anyway it's solved my problem, so thanks very much for all your help!

    Smart move!

even though it told me not to as it was not verified...
The warning does not say don't do it, it is just telling you it has not been verified. And all that really means is the vendor did not send the code, and a big check, to Microsoft so Microsoft could say it works with Windows. Verification is supposed to give consumers confidence something works as claimed. In reality, it is pretty much a marketing gimmick.

    Thanks for the followup.
