Hello DAL,

Back again with some driver and software issues. I need to turn down my hardware acceleration a little to get my encoder program to work properly.

When attempting to access the Nvidia Control panel:

I have no desktop>right cick option

I have the NvCpl files, but they won't work. I double click and they do nothing.

I have no options (that i know of) in control panel for Nvidia

I have no options or listing in msconfig or uninstall for nvidia

When I go to install new drivers, so I can get the control panel working. I tried to install the newest and an older driver but it says that the driver I'm trying to install is not compatible. I tried a couple different compatibility modes but couldn't get anything to work.

When I tried to install the new drivers I did the following steps:

Uninstall in device manager
Reboot
Attempt to Install new/old driver

Drivers I tried to install:
(185.85_desktop_win7_32bit_english_whql)
(191.07_desktop_win7_winvista_32bit_english_whql(2 ))

I'm stumped. The driver works fine but I don't have the software.

Any help or suggestions would be...........DYNO-MITE!

The old drivers need to be uninstalled via the Control Panel > Programs and Features > Nvidia > Display Only

Afterwords try to reinstall the latest driver.

I do not have Control Panel > Programs and Features > Nvidia > Display Only path

I get no results for control panel search for Nvidia.

Windows control panel.

START > Control Panel > etc.

If you do not see it right click START and choose Properties > Start Menu > Customize > Control Panel > Display as a Menu

In your first image open: Programs and Features.

Try Windows Update.

Nvidia offered some drivers there for 7.

There is no Nvidia option

34 optional updates. All languages.
