    Audio Drivers

    Hey guys.

A guy recently came to me, asking me to fix his computer. He had no sound.

But I've tried to install drivers for his sound, but I keep getting "Does not support this operating system : WNT_5.1H" and "The HDA Audio Bus Driver is required and not found"

He's running Windows XP Home SP2, and has a ASUS P4R8L as a motherboard. His other drivers installed fine, but I can't seem to find a solution for this on Google.

    Thanks

    Byaa

After installing hotfix, did you still reinstall sound card driver?

Download, and install Everest: |MG| EVEREST Free Edition 2.20
    Open it.
In left pane expand Computer folder.
    Click once on Summary
In upper menu, go Report>Quick Report-Summary
Save it in text file, and paste it in your next post.
Don't include anything under the line Debug - PCI
