my pc has no sound but after i scan in your website
the driver scanner my multimedia audio controller
is outdated after ive installed it is realtek AC'97
but when i try my sounds code 10 could not start
help please any response is appreciated !

Download, and install Everest: |MG| EVEREST Free Edition 2.20
Open it.
In left pane expand Computer folder.
Click once on Summary

because i change my hard disk by myself
and there it says Multimedia controller missing
with a yellow "?" before on device manager
but now after the disk driver scanner recomended
me to download the realtek ac'97
i can see now on sound video and game controllers
that the realtek AC'97 Audio Via (R) Audio Controller
has a small yellow "!" and when i click on properties
it says that " this device could not start ( Code 10 )
Using driver scanner is not the best idea. Which one did you use?
After replacing hard drive, what did you use to reinstall Windows?
Some recovery CD, or Windows XP CD?
If the latter, did you reinstall motherboard/chipset driver?
