I have a hp v2665us notebook. It wouldn't boot up so I did a reformat with the recovery disk. Now it boots up ok but when I try to use the application and driver recovery disk is won't load. How do I get this to work. I downloaded some of the drivers from the hp website but the most of the applications that came on the computer are still on the disk. Any help would be appreciated. windows xp system. I reformated but the applications and drivers are on a cd and it won't work. Hp told me when I reformated that it would tell me when to put the cd in but it didn't. No error codes.

same exact problem running XP. after installation of XP in device manager not all deviceswere working reinstalling the driver found most of the drivers on the application and driver recovery DVD but the setup.exe in the DVD will not do anything?
