Multi media audio controller deleted
My pc had a lot of clutter that I was trying to delete and think I've accidentally deleted my multi media driver. I'm a completely useless with computers and have no idea how to get it back. I no longer have the setup disks that came with my pc as they were lost in a housemove a couple of years back. Here's my system specs according to Belarc. Any advice telling me what driver to install and where I can get this from would be muchly appreciated. And sorry for being such a t*t for doing this in the first place!!!!! Let me know if I'm missing something (I probably am
) and where to find the details. Cheers muchly again

Audio drivers
--------------------------------------------------
The best source for audio drivers is the computer manufacturers web site.
If the computer was custom built then go to the motherboard manufacturers web site.
Go to the driver download section and insert your model number. The drivers will be there.
If you are one of the very few people that actually installed a PCI "Sound Card" then you should have the drivers CD for that card or again go to that manufacturers web site.

Not sure who the manufacturer is; the company I bought the computer from has their name plastered over everything and has gone bust. I've been told that I should've upgraded some time ago as this is now probably 8 years old, but for little ole technophobe me it's always done exactly what I've wanted - browse t'web and play my music. Now it only does half that I'm suffering, hence the request for help
