    Right,story so far,

Tried to download ATI driver jobby but it froze..wanted a .NET account or summat, which he aint got (he's not on the net) so couldn't d/ld the catalyst suite thing,

    restarted........and it found summat!!

yellow ! marks have gone now and it says the drivers are working ok!!

Will see if it works for him later,as it's him who plays the video pc games, not me lol

Mind you, he's only got 192mb of ram...surely needs upgrading for graphics?

    Cheers, Dave

Erm yeah 192mb is... quite little. Well it depends on what type of games he usually plays. Maybe you can name them and we can help you out with suggestions?

    That 192mb indicates 192 + 64 = 256mb which is a standard increment.

What this says is the RAM is shared with on-board graphics at 64mb.

With that ATI card this should not be the case.

It indicates that the on-board graphics is still functioning unless the ATI card is pulling the RAM which I doubt. That would mean the ATI card is only 64mb + 64 from the board = 128mb

Although larger cards sometimes share RAM I've never seen one this small do so.

Jephree, on the card it had 2 small square boxes, 64mb and 128mb.The 128mb was ticked iirc.

Not sure what games he has, other son says Blitzkrieg and Imperium Galactica? are good. Here's a few of his games, hope you can see them
