Did you install SP3?
Did you install the latest .NET Framework?
Did you install all Windows Updates?
-------------------
After answering those questions I would again suggest reviewing the history of your laptop.
Don't just post a few lines but let us know like when was the last time it was all ok? What might have happened when it started to have problems? What if anything did you do when it started to have problems? Could you ever play these games before? etc.
The more you can tell us the more we can try to help.
As per gaming you can try this scan for particular games:
Can you run it ..............................................
Can You RUN It?

As to a more comprehensive diagnostic please read this thread:
BSOD

Read the post HERE for a few diagnostic ideas and post back any relevant data.

yes, i attempt to get avaible updates possable. this is my girlfriends laptop so, i don't know because she never played games like this, the only time these events happen are when i use java apps which get to 150mb graphics an i have 256mb graphics, the computer well passes the expectations for games i play i only play games that i know should rather very very smoothly like 1gh or less games e.g 64mb-256mb RAM.

It would help us help you if you would reply to specific questions. Sorry if this is tedious but it is the only way we can determine what is going on.
There were many questions in my last post if you re-read it.
Do you have SP3 now?
What is your version of .NET Framework?
Did you try "Can I run it?" and what were the results?
Did you review your Event Viewer? If so what errors did you find?
Now you mention Java. Do you have the latest Java?
Download Free Java Software - Sun Microsystems
Laptops were not made to play games or do intense graphics.
Your graphics RAM is totally using your motherboard RAM. It is shared. Your scan showed 750MB RAM total so if you are pulling 250MB on the graphics your entire system is reduced to 500MB which is not much for gaming.
Anyway again the more answers you can provide the better we can try to help.

What is your version of .NET Framework?
3.0
Did you try "Can I run it?" and what were the results?
what do you mean how do i do that...
-------------------------
the game is able to run on 256ram and 128mb graphics card computers, the game works best on laptops
Did you review your Event Viewer? If so what errors did you find?
how i do that?
i have the latest java. because i only got it the other day an the game requires a low version of javasun.
-
First off for security reasons you should only have the latest version of JAVA and should remove all previous versions via Add/Remove Programs. The latest is 6_12.
When ever you see a blue underlined line in a post it is a link to another web site.
In my post #43 there is a link to "Can You Run It?"
There is also a link to my diagnostic page which includes instructions on using the Event Viewer.
-
"Can you run it?"
that does not have the game inwitch i play- that it these events happen.
-
in event viewer it's not displaying when the screen turns off like its the LCD or a crappy cable going off
-
Sounds like you could have a hardware problem.
You can try using Safe Mode:
