i have just formatted my desktop now im having problem with the audio..they dont make a sound.so...after browsing here and there..the only information i get is this

my problems...
1) mine is built in sound card i think...
2)in control panel/sound & audio devices says no audio device

my questions..
1) can someone find me what driver should i install so i can play the sound... :-( i need them so bad

Motherboard is different, but the sound device drivers are the same. Pick the proper O/S and click on the floppy icon.......

sorry i missed the link u give just now..idownload the driver from the link u have given..and install..then when i try to install..it failed and says driver not found,please reboot system..well..i have restart few times already..still the same...what could have go wrong?

I have an ac'97 also. I went to driverguide.com....joined(free) and typed 4031 into the search box.....(3026) is also an option). I found my sound driver there. (I am running 98se OS so it may not work for you. Go to google and search for "PC Wizard"(a free download) have it scan your system.and it will help you in finding what your soundcard is. I am not a geek, but I do have some experience in problems...lol

What O/S (Operating System) are you using?
ie; Win95, 98FE, 98SE, WinME, Win2000, WinXP, etc

Drivers are Operating System specific. You need to get the driver for your O/S.
