I reformatted my computer and now i have no sound. My speakers are on the monitor, and even when I have tried to put the supposed driver disk in, theres nothing useful on it anyways. I know what kind of sound card im supposed to have and i have tried to DL the driver but after it downloads/setup/restarts, nothing changes anyways. Please help me

Hi,

I'm having the same issue as the person above.. I did a fresh install on my Sis's comp and suddenly there is no audio. When i went into the properties i see that it shows as no audio device... went to update the drivers and Nada... i think it is a Athalon 2600 chip/ but i will run Everest to be sure and post back here.
