If you have the device enabled in the BIOS, the proper motherboard device drivers installed and configured for your operating system, and a working set up speakers properly connected and the sound still does not work then I would suspect your sound device has failed. Check your manual to make sure the above is all correct. If still bad, you will need a new motherboard or you will need to install an add-in card.
