That just brings me back (at Intel) to the 82810 & 82815 files, which we've already tried.
I ask again;
"A model number would help tremendously. All the above tells us is that it's an ACER desktop system, with a Pent III, and 256 MB of RAM. There are a few machines which fit into that catagory.
Is there a Logo on the front, a sticker on the back, or a Windows ME sticker on the side (where a Product Key for ME would be) which gives a system model number? (Similar to Veriton 7100 or something?)"
Try Everest again. Run it, then look under Computer, Summary, Motherboard, or under Computer, Motherboard. (Motherboard Name) With any luck, it may be listed there.
See attached photo, mine is a Hewlett-Packard HP Vectra VL400
