    Re: Display probs. HELP!

Here is your model drivers assuming that your nVidia is integrated:

    VPR-GC100 Nvidia Video

    http://www.vprmatrix.com/customer_de...6R_drivers.asp

If you have added an independent card then the drivers will be different.

One way to determine this is how the monitor is plugged in. Is the plug vertical near the edge of the case or horizontal and towards the middle of the case?

If the former you have integrated and the above drivers should work.

So you have an independent graphics card.

The other drivers were for the integrated graphics.

If you move the plug up to that other port you might get slightly better graphics.

To solve the real problem you need drivers for that graphics card.

Yet we have no idea what it is.

Go to start > Control Panel > Add or remove programs.

Do you see an ATI display driver? Or a listing under Nvidia drivers?

    How old is this computer?

Are you familiar with working inside it?

    Wow! You are awesome!

    NVIDIA Windows 2000/XP Display Drivers

No I am not familiar with anything other than taking panel off and cleaning it....which I did last week. But......I am willing to learn!!!! Ready when you are!

    Thanks!

    How old is the computer?

Did this problem coincide with cleaning?

    ............

Anyway see if the scan in Option 2 will find your card:

    http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

Once you find your driver you will first need to uninstall what you found in Add or remove programs.
