After installing new drivers on my computer (a Dell Latitude D620 running XP) it no longer recognizes external storage devices plugged into the USB ports (external hard drives and flash drives). The drives in question worked before the installation of the new drivers and function properly on other computers. System restore does not help the problem. I suspect that I need to install another driver, but do not know which one would apply.
