I am having problems getting sound from the sound card. The problem seems to be the sigmatel hd audio codec. I have installed a driver for it but the device status says it cannot start (code 10). I have tried uninstalling the driver and started again but to no avail.
Any help?

The best source for audio drivers is the computer manufacturers web site.

If the computer was custom built then go to the motherboard manufacturers web site.

Go to the driver download section and insert your model number. The drivers will be there.
