I updated the driver, thus the problems began. Now the wireless icon is not present, nor it is available in the device manager under network adapters. Only the ethernal adapter is shown.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver from the manufacturers CD, but no result occured.

What should I do next?

If the adapter is installed (physically), installing a driver package should set it up.
