Please someone help!!! I need to find my E:/ drive!!! It just disappeared when I was burning a music cd. Pls someone help me find it. My computer is a laptop and I have Windows XP. Thanks to whoever replys.

Is that an external hard drive or the internal DVD/CD drive?

Did you try to "switch off" , "start" and than if it still not there to search for new hardware?

this is an internal dvd/cd drive...

Is it in the Device Manager under DVD/CD ROM drives?

right click My Computer then click Properties > Manage > Device Manager

If it is there right click it and choose Uninstall

When you restart the computer XP should re-detect it.
