I am working on restoring my best friends HP Pavillion dv1000. I am having problems getting the wireless internet adaptor and the sound card to work. All I am getting for sound is the default beeps off of the motherboard and as for the wireless adaptor I don't get anything at all.

I have been to the HP website for support and the drivers do not want to install.

I have aompleted a hardware scan and it is posted below.

It seems to me that there is alot of information missing and unfortunately I haven't been able to find his restore disk hat came with the computer.
