Does the laptop still run in windows?
If so see if you can ID the specific hardware it has. Right click My Computer then click Manage then Device Manager.
You will need LAN and or modem drivers. WIFI if wireless. Touchpad. Sound.
There are various DVD drivers depending on device. You probably do not need BIOS. Nor UserGuides nor Utilities unless you want diagnostic tools.
I would put them all on a CD and then you can pick and choose as needed.

It would be listed under Display adapter
If there is nothing under Display adapter or if Display adapter is not listed then your device is not being detected which means there are no drivers installed.
Toshiba lists no graphics drivers.
See if you can ID the motherboard with CPU-Z:

I don't see that model listed at ATI

Sounds like it is not the correct driver.
