Hello you lovely people!

Here is my predicament ....

I have a Thinkpad T21 laptop with crystal soundfusion soundcard

Ever since i installed XP on here the thing wont put out any recognisable sounds, with the exception of lots of white noise and the odd bleep!

Device manager says it is working properly, but device manager is clearly a dirty liar! ;O) lol

I did trawl the net before hassling you guys and have downloaded several drivers people say will work for others but as yet have still not been able to get any audible funk from my machine!

Any advice or should i throw this thing out the window and take up guitar again?

I miss my music!

ok so im guessing throwing it in the bin, hookshot, is the best option?

even if its only to confirm the thing will never work with XP!

Did you uninstall each driver after you tried it?
Have you tried these ones

what was running on it before you installed XP, was the sound OK then?

It was running fine on win98 before i decided to upgrade to XP

Now i wish i still had my 98 disk lol

at least then my paradigm 7se would be tumping!

They get so lonely if they aren't rinsed often

Thanks for all the help guys, im going to do a fresh install of XP tommorrow i think and will deffo try installing the drivers from the first reply as soon as its in
