OK so i have windows xp and i have a magicvision usb webcam and i lost the cd and i went to this site http://www.iomagic.com
but thats only for windows 98 and it downloads but then it jus crates a folder and i click on the folder and i get other folders that say data 1, data 1 hdr., data 2, n etc. and i have no idea which one to click on to get my cam to work im soo lost i jus need help installing it so if anyone could plz plzz help me i woulod soo appreciate it...thank you!

Hey, I have no clue about anything of webcams, but I do know a fair amount about drivers.

Go to http://www.iomagic.com/Products/search_products.asp

Select Webcam

Select USB

Download the last one: Driver Version 1.1 - for Win98

Unzip all contents into a folder.

Execute Setup.exe

If this works, then great. If not, then I'm sorry. You should be able to follow instructions from the Setup.exe. Hope this helps!

XP does not require drivers for USB devices.

Do you have other USB devices working?

Make sure that Plug and Play is set to Automatic and ON:

start/run services.msc
