I'm having a similar problem...trying to get an update for Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG - but, can't seem to find one that will work that I can download. My computer is rebooting itself whenever it feels like it, and I can't get anything done with it like this.

I have a bunch of info: chipset, superio, o/s, CPU, BIOS ID from the BIOS Agent from eSupport...but, I don't want to invest money into this computer since it's so old....just need to get this updated so I can USE it until I buy a new one!


This is another custom built machine - unfortunately, I don't remember many of the original specs, and don't have any of the original books from the board or anything.


Any help would *sure* be appreciated!

What is your exact problem?

Not sure that a BIOS update would help especially on such an old board there probably aren't any recent updates. That being said Google gives this:
