Driver Update Problem.. :\
Hello i have a problem on my display driver. when i play a game Age Of Empires 3 in some random time (in multiplayer mode) it gets the blue screen so all i can do is to restart
.. i tried to update my driver but after i update it i can't view video files because it gets stuck and my pc freezes completely. Anybody knows how can i update and make it work?
My display driver is Radeon 7000.
Thanks

Is this a new problem? Were you ever able to play this game?
Is this the driver you tried:
Windows XP Drivers and Software
RADEON
Catalyst 6.5 Windows XP - Driver Download

Also did you remove the old driver?
The Catalyst Uninstaller is an optional download. We recommend using this utility to uninstall any previously installed Catalyst drivers prior to installation.
With all due respect that Graphics Card is quite limited when it comes to high-end gaming.

Its kind of new because i wasn't experiecing such kind of problems. Until now it only happend on multiplayer mode and skirmish mode. I think i tried that driver.. and yes i've also tried the uninstaller but still having the video problem after updating :\ any ideas?

Just to clarify: you could play this exact game in the same way as you are trying now previously on this computer with no problem?
If so try opening the case and blowing out the dust and perhaps run with the case open as a heat test.

No its always like that on this game. But what about the driver update? i still can't update because of the crash thing. What to do about that?
