Please help me (im new to PC building) ,I have finally finished building my PC (going through 2 power supplys and 2 motherboards in the process). I installed windows XP proffetional no problem. Then it came to the drivers.......i had bought a motherboard from ebay and the guy didnt have the drivers disk, so i downloaded them from the internet. I installed the service pack, this went in fine, then i installed the drivers for the sound.......and the PC restarted . When it came back on, it got past the bit where u can load the BIOS menu and then it should go to the windows loading screen but it dosnt ......it didnt say windows XP it just stayed black.....i turned it off and tried again and the same thing happened

500w magna power supply
40gb hardrive
256mb or ram
Pine 3D phantom graphics card

I think its probably my fault.....i think i installed the wrong sound drivers, but can that prevent the PC from even loading up?

Can you boot in SAFE MODE OK? (Hold F8 on Boot)
