sound driver help please

    sound driver help please

    hi im new, and ive been trying for weeks, with no avail, to get sound to play on my computer after formatting my HD.
    if somebody doesnt mind i would appreciate a little help in finding the driver for my sound card, as you lot know the best sites etc.

    i get this message from win media player

    ''Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound device installed on your computer, it may be in use by another program, or it may not be functioning properly.''

    and i printed these screens for you to see

    i also did a driver scan on driveragent.com which unfortuantly charges you to download the drivers and these were the results

    erm, i don't wanna sound ****y, but have you tried plugging your speakers into each of the different sound outputs? i make that mistake all too often, confuses me for minutes

    have you a disc that came with the PC with drivers on?

    If you do not have the disk the best source for your drivers would be Packard Bell.

    Input your exact i extreme model and look for audio drivers.

    The Microsoft Unimodem Half-Duplex Audio Device is only for your modem.

    You need the drivers for your board chip.

    solved it, went on the packard bell site, and downloaded a random driver and it happened to be the right one, im so happy im blaring my fav song out!!
