I've reinstalled my computer with xp and i've formated it but when it finished installing it was missing some drivers. I fixed my ethernet and monitor drivers but my sound drivers are not working at all. Plz help me. I have a dell dimension 3000, 2004 version. The sound drivers listed in the sound section might not be correct for my computer.

it it the standard on-board sound, if so got to http://support.dell.com/ type in all the relevant information and you should be able to download the drivers

Have you got a DELL restore disc, that may have the drivers you're looking for?

I figured out my problem. I for some reason was missing a driver every time a soundmax installer would try to install it's self so i found the .inf for soundmax and fixed the problem.
