Hey,
A mate of mine's got a Toshiba Tecra A5 and they basically screwed it over with one of the many MSN viruses - anyway, they decided to re-install windows, fine, but then downloaded the wrong driver for the network card and screwed the Mediaboot of the notebook.

Anyway, managed to re-install again but we can't find any ethernet network drivers for the A5 model on the net that are recognised by the system.

I got one driver direct from Toshiba UK site, ( http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.c...verLanguage=42 ) - i extracted it with no problems - tried to reinstall the driver through device manager and pointed it in the right direction, but didn't recognise any of the files in the extraction point, so we still don't have our network driver.

I wondered if any of you could gimme a hand / point me in the right direction of where to go next..

Really hate laptops -.-
