computers audio mixer could not be intilized

    hi,
Does anyone know why I'm getting this :
Voice Error : The computer's audio mixer could not be initialized
whenever i m trying to voice chat with my friends..

My audio drivers are all correctly installed , and works fine I can hear and be heard while in chat rooms.

P.S: Using Intel 915 GAV with onboard Realtek High Definition Audio (latest drivers installed)
Running Windows XP SP2 and Yahoo Messenger 7,0,2,120.

Yes, I resolved this problem. A prior post suggested that I ignore the error and proceed. I did that but other yahoo chat users could not hear me, even though I could hear them. I finally found that my new PC had a firewall blocking yahoo, so I simply made yahoo an exception to the firewall (see firewall settings), then they could hear, but not very well. So I went to sound controls and clicked mic boost under advanced options of mic settings. Now, I still get the error message, but I just click 'OK" and proceed and other chat users say my sound is great.
I am not sure but I think the error message is due to Realtek HD being stereo, and yahoo voice is mono. I hope this helps, it only took me 6 months to make mine work LOL.
