I have an NEC Powermate 1200 CELERON desktop PC of some vintage.

I need a replacement driver for the motherboard and upon contacting NEC I am told that is a Packard Bell machine with their badge. Packard Bell do not recognise the PC serial number and therefore no support from them either.

Can anybody please help?

Perhaps you could try to physically ID the board from the pic at that site.

There is a BIOS and Chip Set driver at the bottom of that page if you feel like it is a match.
