hi guys ..
having some driver problems with my nic card .. have been onto 3coms site to try and download them but when they are downloading my pc is either not picking them up in the right format or is not able to read the disc .. it gives me loads in dos form asking me to overright files which i have done to no avail .. I currently have a 3c905b txmm fast ethernet link xl pci ... ea_005004ec217c .. sn_ 6tg2ec217cc performance 3com 49_0476_002. I have lost the disc when i have moved house and cannot get the drivers required. If possible trying to get a copy of the necessary software and have been onto drivers download site can anyone advise me on what I can do.

Have you tried any of these 3Com driver and diagnostic files?

If the particular site is giving you problems, I can upload to my webspace and you can attempt a download from there.

i eventually gave up on the nic card .. ended up phoning 3coms help line and they wanted to sell the driver for the card @ £20.00 .. bought a new one and built my first network and its running quite well .. having problems with yahoo and all their crap that they sent but thats about it .. but thanks for the answer
