well i recently bought a new computer im running windows xp and ive been having wierd problem i turn off my pc in the evening and when i start it up in the morning and it works for about 15min then the screen freezes for a minute then goes into a very low resolution and a like 4 bit colour and i get error message saying that my display driver stoped responding and to restart the computer i resart it and it works for a bit then crashes again then on the third restart it starts working normaly until i power the pc down and bot it up the next day how can i resolve this problem? i gave the latest catalyst 5.8 and a Ati Radeon x600 pro video card?

Contrary to most Video Card problems which are related to over-heating it seems like yours needs to warm-up

well im not sure what you mean by issues but in the "devmgmt.msc" it says x600/x500 series and x600/x500 series secondary under display adapters is there suppose to be 2?

In Device Manager an issue (problem) would be pointed out by a yellow !

How does it show under dxdiag?

well everything says its fine and the computer did work fine at first but a few days later its started acting up

i did use the cat-uninstaller program before installing 5.8

this card came stock with the computer wich is only 2 weeks old

I would strongly advise returning it!
