Hi
I am trying to install a Philips Jackrabbit External DVD Writer onto a Windows XP machine. However, the OS just returns it as an unknown device. I have scoured the internet for the drivers but without success so far. I have also contacted Philips who have told me they have no drivers as the OS should plug and play it! I have tried it on more than one XP machine and the same happens. Has anyone else had similar problems or know where I can get the driver for this device..?

AGGGH. Yes i have the same problem and it is driving me mad. Except that it did plug and play on my old computer. On my new one, it just says "device not recognized".

Anyone know how to sort a plug and play that doesnt plug and play?!
