I've re-installed xp pro on my emachines laptop. All is fine apart from i dont have the driver for the wireless card. Its a 54g one but i dont the make of it, it was in the laptop when i bought it. Is there a generic driver i can download?

DriverGuide has a very good software that can detect unknown devices, even though u don't know the make or anything. http://www.driverguidetoolkit.com/ and download the software.

What is the exact model of eMachine?
Getting the driver from them (if available) is the best first step.
