What is the exact model # of your Dell?

    Also:

Have you added a sound card or are you using the original setup?

Unless you have added your own sound card the drivers will be available from Dell:

    http://support.dell.com/support/down...ex.aspx?~ck=mn

Insert your model name & number & choose the audio driver.

If you have installed your own sound card then you need to look up that manufacturer's site for its' drivers.

    _______________

For example a Dell Dimension 3000 using Windows XP:

Also note that Dell PCs usually come with a dark blue CD labelled "Resource CD". This also contains all of the drivers that were originally installed on the system. The CD installs a very small program that detects what PC you have and which drivers you need so it is very easy to use
