XP cant find any softwre to get it to work and the drivers i've found so far didnt work so does any one out there know where i can find a driver that works as i dont want to have to spend money getting a new scanner when this one still works well it does when it as a driver lol.

Don't know if this is the same driver but primax say they wont make any drivers to support XP. They reckon the 2000 driver will maybe work here http://www.primax.nl/drivers/colorad...pismusbeng.exe

The instruction page, very important, is here. http://www.primax.nl/documents/xpmed...200english.htm

Well after much research I think you might be out of luck. I keep coming up with the same answer wherever I go. No support for XP. Sorry.

I have one of these, and it works on XP. Its a bit obscure, but here's how I did it:

    Download this driver from Primax
    http://www.scanner-drivers.com/drivers/124/124630.htm
Unzip the zipfile into a folder on your PC. Run the setup to install TWAIN.

Plug in the scanner, load driver from OT1Drivers\os, which is located wherever you unzipped the above to. You can use either of the two optional devices

You can now use the scanner with any twain compatible s/w. e.g. Futuris Imager 5, free from www.tucows.com

It all works. I set it up on my old PC, Have just got it working on the new one, for which I was looking for the above help myself, hence why I'm here. But the scanner is up and running on my new PC too.
