when i play games these black shapes and colours sometimes flash everywhere anybody got any ideas my graphic card is a Geforcefx 5200 256mb.

Card not seated correctly or overheating

I think it might be overheating going to test it in my mates comp.Ill post back results.

Also dont forget your RAM. If you only have 128 you need more.

I have 1024mb of ram i dont think its that.

ok. when I looked up the E machine 220 it just said it had 128. sorry bout that.

No problem i have upgraded nearly everything no point taken any notice of that.

But when i first put it in and tested it i didnt do this i dont think.Then i had the case and everything off so i think it might be overhesting.

It (glitching) is IMHO a sign of the card (or video system) playing up at a hardware level

I have updated all of the drivers and directx is running fine so it says.
