when i play games these black shapes and colours sometimes flash everywhere anybody got any ideas my graphic card is a Geforcefx 5200 256mb.

OK my computer is an emachines 220 and my graphic card is a Geforcefx 5200 256mb pci. No this has happened soon as i got it about 2 weeks ago
and it dosent do this on videos only in game play on all games.

Was this card on the machine when purchased?

If it's only two weeks old my first suggestion is take it back.

I do notice (from standard models) your computer only has 128MB RAM which is also the minimum for your card but you should have at least 256MB. I would suggest getting 512MB.

Whether this is your problem I'm not sure but it could be.

That card also is sold with it's own software & drivers. Did you get these CD's? Did you install them or was this all set-up from the seller?

Again tho I would consult the seller of this product if it is brand new.

Sorry if I mistake the card is new? Not the computer? Is that what you meant?

If so the RAM issue seems more prominent.
