I have Windows XP Home Edition and use Road Runner cable modem. My "A" drive is gone! It just disappeared! Anyone have any ideas as to how to get it back?

Sometimes, Windows Explorer collapses certain parts of the tree so that some bits disappear. Try right-clicking 'My Computer' and choose the 'Explore' option from the menu - that should open a new Explorer window with all the drives refreshed. Does it appear now?

Is it an internal floppy drive that you've lost or is it one that plugs in via a USB or parallel cable?

Is the problem on a desktop PC or a laptop?

I'm guessing that it's a USB drive plugged into a laptop but that's quite an assumption so we need you to tell us!
