Hello Sammy, you could use a disk spanning utility like this one to span the file across multiple disks. HTH

when I download it it a window opens up asking "open with" what program do I use to open it with.

Winzip can compress (so it may fit on just one disk) and span across floppies. Available from http://www.winzip.com

can I use winzip 9.0? after I download how do I use it can anyone lead me through?

Yes you can use Winzip 9. From memory (so it could be wrong) here's what to do after you've installed WInzip.
1. Find the file you want to put on multiple floppies,
2. Right click on it and choose "Add to Zip..."
3. In the Winzip dialog box you get put the file name to be something like a:\myfile.zip and put a tick in the "span disks" check box.
4. Click OK and swap disks when asked
