I work on two computers, both OS WinXP sp3, one of them offline.
I installed Open Office 3.3 on the online computer and would like to work with Open Office on the offline machine too.
I transferred the whole Open Office folder to the offline computer but I do not find a way to install it.
Can this be done, and if so, how?
Please advise.

You cannot just copy the folders for OpenOffice from one PC to another.
Because the installer makes changes to the registry and your copied folder wont reflect those changes
on the PC were the folders are copied too.
You need to copy the downloaded OpenOffice installer.exe file or application file onto a usb flash-drive and
either install it using that. Or copy it on to your offline PC. Then install it from there
You could also copy the installer onto a DVD and install that way
