I have a Mecer 1236p flat bed scanner, which I had been using with Win 95 O/S, but ever since I changed to Win 2000 it keeps giving me an error message and won't work. Is there anything I can do to get it to work with Win 2000 and above?

I couldn't find many references to that scanner at all, they may have even never made a Win98/2000/XP driver for it. My advise? Scanners are so cheap for £50 you will get a new scanner which will be a drastic improvement on your current one in terms of quality scanning.

Thanks for the advice.... Unfortunately I live in Zambia, Central Africa, where getting a "cheap" scanner is always hard to come by... so it is usually cheaper to get the "driver".
