I find I canot use the clone stamp tool in Photoshop CS5. Usually I cick on the tool icon whilst holding down the Alt key and then I first relase the mouse and then the alt key.

This worked well with photoshop 7 but it does not work with CS5.

Can anyone help an old-age pensioner often baffled by computer navigation?

I'm running CS5 and I select the clone tool, then I hold the ALT key and left click once on the area I want to clone then release the ALT key and the selection should be visible and ready to stamp....
