I have had this modem for a few years. I used Windows XP Pro and kept my software relatively up to date. The last version was V 3.2.1.156.
I installed Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. The modem worked well, but I had a problem a week ago and uninstalled and re-installed the software. I could not connect to the internet. I am from South Africa- it is branded as a Vodafone and took it to a Vodacare. The guy struggled for hours. At some point the laptop did not recognise the modem. I asked him to uninstall everything from the modem and tried it myself.
During the installation, it showed this error message:
Current firmware: 11.117.09.04.00
Software: V 3.2.1.156

Sometimes, it shows the network, I click click on the "connect" but it does not go further (everything is grey), but this am it does not even show the network:
I trust that someone can help.
I feel that if I "clean" (uninstall everything from) the modem, install some old firmware and then upgrades with software, it might help??
