2 TV cards

    2 TV cards

I have a TV card, Leadtek DTV2000, which is very handy, most of the time. Every now and then (4 or 5 times since the last Win update in late October) it loses most of the TV stations, and I come in here and find it recording a program on a different station, one it is still receiving.
The only remedy is reinstalling the software and running another channel scan, which requires a restart. By the time that happens the show I want to record is half way over.
This is obviously annoying, and I am considering either a 2nd TV card, or a dongle that connects to my exterior antenna.
I am considering a Hauppage card, and a KWorld dongle.
Before I take the plunge I want to know if a second PCI card, or a dongle will interfere with the Leadtek card - sometimes I want to be able to record 2 shows at the same time.
Finding reviews of the products I have seen available locally is harder than it should be. The dongle was recommended by a friend who is pretty impatient with anything that doesn't work.
I would like some DAL user about how good Hauppauge cards are (they are quite expensive here in Australia compared with what I have seen on line, like x2 in the case of cards). And the UK would be a better source because they use PAL, not NTSC.
And most importantly whether the 2 cards, or a card and a dongle, will interfere with each other. Like Tunebite clashed with my Realtek on board sound drivers.
