    Office 2003

I installed Excel 2003 and Word 2003 using an Office 2003 Basic CD.

When I open either Excel or Word, I have to either accept or decline Microsoft's agreement.

What did I do wrong in installing the programs?

The software shows to be activated.

    Thanks

You always have to accept the office terms of service before you can use it but that is only for the first time. Are you saying that it keeps coming up each and every time? If so do you accept it?

    Thanks Townsbg for the reply.

I had to accept or decline the agreement every time that I used the programs.

I found a solution to the problem.

Boot the computer in safe mode, sign on as the administrator, and open the programs and accept the agreement.

This stops the requirement for accepting the agreement each time you use the software.

There is a much simpler way to do this. You can share a CD drive over the network. This method has the added benefit of allowing you to install anything else you want without copying, creating .iso files, or anything else more complicated that simply installing from a remote drive (by which I mean simply finding the shared CD drive on the network and double-clicking on it.
