I upgraded to Windows 7 and there was an issue with my cd rom drive.. I supposedly didn't have one. So I got one. Then iTunes is telling me this........



I already tried to "Fix" iTunes and I already tried to reinstall it. This message has not gone away. I've been told not to mess around with registry files, so I'm not going to start now..... without asking for help first, of course.

You are right in that you shouldn't mess with the registry unless you know what to change. In this case it appears that you have to. Good luck.

I was sooo excited to try this method, and everything was going great, until I realized I had no UPPERFILTER tab on my regedit.

Can one be created? Again, I'm skeptical with doing any disheveling of the registry.
