Really hoping someone can help....

My VLC Media Player has suddenly stopped working and will no longer play any AVI files.

I keep getting the message "vlc.exe - Entry Point Not Found"

It was working up until a couple of hours ago.

Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but am getting the same thing!!!
